Game:Cube Me Fishing

In this 1st of a 4 part series Jack from The Survival Podcast [ thesurvivalpodcast.com ] takes you fishing with a minimalist kit. Jack's kit in this video consists of... 1. A small assortment of snelled hooks 2. A cheapo one dollar knife 3. A small spool of monofilament line 4. A small hank of parachute cord In this first video Jack demonstrates how to quickly create a make shift fishing pole, insure you don't loose a fish if the rod breaks and how to turn a flower into a fishing lure.

Here's a good way to make fishing a little more interesting...

Grab your fishing hook...and your gun! Cast your fishing lure and get as far down as possible. When you snag a fish, try and grab all the fish you can. When they fly to the surface, grab your gun and blow the crap out of them. Use the mouse to move the fishing hook and use the left click to increase/decrease the speed of sinking. Aim and shoot at the fish, using the mouse.

I don't see too many fishermen using this technique, but I must admit it's pretty awesome. I wouldn't want to mess with the spider who spun that web though!

You can leave your rod and bait behind on this fishing trip, but you may end up needing a helmet.

Who needs to fish with dynamite when you can just use one of nature's ultimate hunting machines! Now if we could just figure out how to get the fish back from it...

Who says you need a pole when you can just catch fish like this?
