Sometimes the process of creating an art piece just takes on a life of it own. I just got some new canvas an didn't know what to do with it. I just started working. A song from The Sound of Music came to mind. These are few of my favorite things. So it became a self portrait. It didn't feel finished until one day I was sitting at the table looking at some poinsettias I took one there you go.

Tangeld ( Original art piece)
This is a picture of one of my first paintings.My husband liked so much I gave it to him and I sold a copy of it at a wine tasting event. I used only colors that are found in fire simbolizing an intense passion between a man an woman in love to the point of obsession.
Dance of Love
As a little girl I would watch ballroom dancing with my mother.I really like the Latin Dances, the Tango ( or the dance of love) was my favorite. The angles of the poses and the way the dresses seemed to move were like nothing I've seen. When I decided to start working with texture in my work this dance inspired me.
