Cardboard wow

This guy manages to turn one simple sheet of cardboard into a pretty awesome chair table combo. He does it without any cuts too!

The glue, that is made for gluing the sheets together, is made from cornflour and does not affect the recycling process. The cardboard might seem fragile but can carry an enormous amount of kilos because of the folded structure. If the cardboard gets wet, you can just dry it with a piece of clothes but don't bring ecochair the beach...

The "Lake Ellyn Express" at the 2010 Glen Ellyn Cardboard Regatta. We went a bit zany this year with the impractical idea of a train of boats, well, literally a train! We managed to complete the course, capsize in the middle of the course, and never get past the starting line, all with the same entry! Much fun was had. Other highlights from the Regatta at 3:58. Functional cardboard chair and writing desk. Industrial design case study of natural laws of form evolving from function and structure. The chair's components require a functional back, armrests, portablitly under 24" x 16" x 12", a minimal seat height of 12", minimal dynamic load of 180 pounds, an optional desk that supports 20 lbs on a 11" x 8 1/2" writing area. no cuts, no glue, no tape, only folds.
