Monkey see monkey do. 'Yay, indoctrinate me at as young an age as possible! Screw free will!'
MikeSunday, November 7, 2010 05:20 PM EST
Nothing this baby is doing will guarantee her salvation. Salvation comes from God; there is nothing we can do to earn it, so indoctrination is of no value, nor does her "free will" have anything to do with eternal life. Someday she will have to repent of all her sins and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ to redeem her from having to pay the penalty for her sins.

For some reason, rather than being cute and funny, that just ended up being kind of creapy.
Harsh RealityThursday, November 4, 2010 09:52 AM EDT
Rather than Jesus being in this childs heart, she's being brainwashed too early. She'll grow up simply doing this just because that is all she knows and what she was taught and that is just what is expected. Will be in her mind, become second nature, etc. but will be a product of repetition and will never be in her heart.

if baby really loved music she be dancing more not looking she fell asleep or standing there like statue i sorry i agree a person monkey see monkey do situation babys mimc to learn not like stop taking your baby to church for month or so then play gospil music to see if it has same effect or not
samThursday, November 4, 2010 10:42 AM EDT
All of you are twisted! If she was listening to Lady GaGa and bustin a move you would have applauded. But being in church makes her brainwashed!!!!!!!!!??????????? I think all of you need to check your lives and see who has been brainwashed. I doubt any of you even know what it is like to go to church more than once a year. Maby when she grows up she will hang out in bars and smoke weed just to make all of you happy.
MikeThursday, November 4, 2010 11:08 PM EDT
I'm with you Sam. I can't believe the negative comments from all of these idiots just because this kid is in church waving a hand and swaying back and forth. I guess they all think its totally wrong to take a kid to church with you if you decide to go to church. I bet you not one of these idiots can think back to when they were two years old and tell you one thing that they remember happening back then yet they want to sit here and badmouth the parents of this kid for taking the kid to church with them. Give me a break. All they are doing is showing how stupid they are themselves. I have all the respect in the world for taking this kid to church with them.

Wow, Sam and Mike YOU TWO are no better!!.... You had just left comments slamming the people on here, and sterotyping everyone on this page, Just as they are doing in regards to the toddler in the video, They are just as ignorant as you guys, Obviously they are not religious, and i must admit, it looked kinda weird, almost creepy, I said ALMOST its just a baby, and to you it is probably normal behaviour when you go to church, I wouldnt know because im not religious, My point to you two is " You shouldnt throw stones when you live in a glass house" You guys are total hypocrite`s, So should i assume that you two are so naive, that just because someone who does not believe in religion or something OTHER then your own they are potsmoking idiot`s? REALLY? well if your religious then ya better start asking for forgivness for being two-faced, Just a question... do you two go to peoples house`s at the most INCONVENIENT time pushing your gods because the world is gonna end? thats what your comments reminded me of, So annoying!!!

:) What a precious child. Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart. I think it is a beautiful thing to teach a child to worship the one true and living God. God responds to the faith of a small child. When my nephew was about 3 years old, he prayed for his Dad, who had fever and had been sick all day long. When the child prayed his Dad was healed in a matter of minutes. He no longer had the fever or chills or other symptoms. Children have to be taught to be cynical or to have faith. It looks like you are doing a good thing in teaching your child to worship God. God bless the parents and the child!
MichaelSaturday, November 6, 2010 01:51 AM EDT
Christian Lady -- First, this child is doing nothing more than mimicking what she sees. Second, your three year old nephew didn't honestly pray any more than I flapped my arms and flew to work this morning. Praise Sweet Jeebus, my Daddy's healed! Do I hear an Amen brothers and sisters? Amen, hallelujia, praise sweet Jeebus and send me your money!. Please, give me a break. It's a good thing to indoctrinate children into the worship of a being that has never been seen nor heard? You can't accept facts that are laid out in front of you, yet you put your entire life and the lives of your children in the superstitious rantings of someone else? Amazing, truly amazing. I have nothing to worry about. You, on the other hand....

Thank you Micheal, you made the point that needed to be made. Children that young are still learning about the world they live in, what they can see, smell, touch, hear, and feel. Superstition and the idea of a spiritworld with a god you pray to would be nearly impossiable for them to understand simply because it cannot be shown to them. Also i find it foolish to put all of your faith in something you can't really know about. "It is so, because I believe it is" If faith and belief is what makes something real then where are all the monsters living under the bed and in the closet? At one point in time most of us believed in them to the point of fear for our safty.

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
abrahamTuesday, November 9, 2010 03:46 AM EST
hahah wow you people take everything to the extreme. Yes, she is just imitating so? babies do that, it doesn't mean that's "indoctrination". Babies learn to blow a kiss or show the middle finger, say i love you or a bad word, it's all about what they see and grow up with. When she grows up she will have her own judgement and point of view and she will decide, meanwhile, she is just learning stuff so don't get all crazy about this I'm a christian and i've seen kids doing that and i just find it funny because i know they will be taught about the true meaning of what they see and what they do at church and one day they will decide so calm down
AdorednkcWednesday, November 10, 2010 12:48 PM EST
This is wonderful in that this child has probably witnessed a parent worship the L-rd and wants to emulate that. I'd much rather see a child emulate worship than the rampant godlessness we see on the television and hear in popular music! Sway on little sister!
yilguyWednesday, November 10, 2010 04:06 PM EST
Hello, Does anyone know about the song's title? By the way, It´s nice to see a baby doing this, imitating or not, it doesn´t matter... she looks so great!

Since we won't know one way or the other until our life is over, I'll put my faith in the Lord now and continue to pray for those who don't. My children are raised according to the Bible. They follow the 10 commandments and live by His laws. I'm not forcing you to do the same. Only radicals force people to listen to their rantings. No one wants to listen to that. Instead I'll simply pray for you and others like you, that you find your path - whatever that may be. And I'll spend the time I have here on Earth, walking in His footsteps and helping those less fortunate. Because at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what you think. All that matters is what He thinks.
FOR MY GODMonday, November 15, 2010 10:32 AM EST
I am so haapy to see a young baby enjoy herself at church, and being raised in church as well. The people that criticize Christians for believing in God and for us to want are children to have faith, I will pray for you. I really don't know what is going to happen when I die, but I am glad I have something to look foward too. Also it has been proven in SCIENCE that you have to have religon to have a WORKING SOCIETY. If morals was not implanted to people at a young age, people would kill, steal, and do all kinds of things that MAKES THEM HAPPY. just like the devil and illuminati want people to believe in this world. What really concern me about ppl like Michael and others, most of you guys believe there is a DEVIL, but no GOD...very strange to believe into that if you ask me!!
MichaelFriday, November 26, 2010 07:05 PM EST
Actually no, I don't believe in this devil of yours, that christianity created, not heaven nor hell either, thanks. And no, as a matter of fact, we do NOT need religion to have a functioning society. You do not need religion to dictate right and wrong. There is a reward and punishment system built into a great many species in the animal kingdom, certainly not the least of which is primates, to which we are so closely related. There are rules of family, there are rules of territory, there are rules for mating, there are any number of societal rules that resemble ours, and you know why? Because that's where we got them! Tens of thousands of years ago in the early developmental stages of humans we watched and learned, just like they do with us now. But I know you can't accept that concept, because your "truth" is that some mystical sky fairy twiddled its magical fingers a mere 4 or 5 thousand years ago, and POOF! here we all are in the image of his glory, along with billions of galaxies with billions of completely unoccupied planets, because this ONE sole planet is all he/she/it decided to populate. Woohoo, let's celebrate!

Micheal do you know your name means "Who is like God?"
MichaelSaturday, December 4, 2010 03:01 AM EST
I am abundantly aware of that 'meaning', yes. However, that doesn't mean I have to believe in any of it. I feel quite liberated in my beliefs (or more accurately, lack of). It's all a nice romantic notion that gives comfort to some. The upside to religious beliefs I suppose is that does keep some in line with the threat of hellfire and brimstone looming over them. The prospect of potential eternal damnation is a bit more frightening to some than a father's belt or a prison term.
A momSaturday, December 11, 2010 03:09 AM EST
As a mom, I have to say this is precious. To be able to sit in church because your child is enjoying it is awseome!
A momSaturday, December 11, 2010 03:15 AM EST
I meant 'awesome.' And as for the cynical folk. My child loves the music but doesn't care for the preaching when we are in a church service. That tells me that he does have a preference of his own. Babies don't usually copy EVERYTHING.

wow you guys really missed the point of the video or created your own...it was just a cute video. who cares if she was 'monkey see monkey do', it was a cute video. as of now, most of you have already formed her way of life, beliefs and morality...ease up. some people still enjoy humor.
