Small pockets of unrest remain active, according to Scotland Yard. It began as a peaceful protest demanding justice over the death of a 29-year-old man who was shot by police last Thursday. But things turned ugly when demonstrators began attacking police and setting fire to cars and buildings. The violence then spread to a neighbouring district.

London Shops have rough time these days, not only by rioters, but also animal- bird.

This video has been shot on 9 July 2010 from our home in Wapping, London, UK. It happened between 10:30pm and 11pm. Dozens of totally silent bright orange lights were flying across the sky over London for about 30 minutes in total, appearing from above the south-west horizon and disappearing to the north-east. Whatever it was, UFOs or chinese lanterns, we had never seen anything like that before. Weather conditions were clear sky and no wind whatsoever, so I really doubt it was chinese lanterns considering their speed and consistent direction in those conditions. Also, the orange lights were never flickering as with most lanterns, they looked constantly and steadily bright. There is nothing in the news about it, has anyone else in or around London witnessed the same thing?
